The 13th Reality

Hey guys!  I just finished a new book.  The 13th Reality (The Journal of Curious Letters).  I told most of you that I was reading it.  I even gave a book talk in class about it, so there isn't a lot that I can say about it.  I will say that I really enjoyed all 400 pages of it.  The best part about it is it will be a series.  I can't wait for the next book.

This book is about a boy in Jr. high school.  His name is Atticus Higginbottom.  Yes, I know that is a great name.  The first time I read it I laughed, but his name definitely fits him to a T. He is exactly what you would think a boy with a name like that would be.  A nerd.  He gets bullied, picked on and everything else that goes along with his name.

One day he gets a strange letter in the mail telling him that his life is about to change.  The letter tells him there will be a series of curious letters that will come and each has a riddle to solve.  If he chooses to figure the riddles out he will be instrumental in saving many people that are in danger.  Well what would any boy or girl in his shoes do?  Of coarse, they would figure out the clues and be ready for an adventure.  Together, with some friend he meets along the way, they take on the adventure with danger around every corner.

I hope you guys like this book.  The characters are very believable and I am sure that you will be able to relate to them in some way or another.

The author has not released the date for the next book so we will just have to wait.
